KANE

Diane L. Erickson, 71, of 424 1/2 Hacker St. died Monday afternoon at UPMC-Hamot. She was born on Sept. 17, 1949 in Kane, the daughter of the late Edward and Anna (Haight) Bergstrom.

Mrs. Erickson graduated from Kane Area Highs School in 1967 and had been employed as a LPN for many years at Andrew Kaul Healthcare Center.

She is survived by two daughters, Heather (Lee) Smith of Kane and Pam Vantine of Perry, GA; two sisters, Linda Gatewood of Alabama and Lois Green of Virginia; one brother Danny Bergstrom of Tennessee and two grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers, Don Bergstrom, Kenny Reigel and Bob Reigel and an infant son Timothy Michael Vantine.

The family will be receiving friends at the Cummings Funeral Home on Saturday (April 24) from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.
